The CLCZ Book Club will pick up the fall schedule on Thursday, September 16 when they gather to discuss the historical novel, My Dear Hamilton: A Novel of Eliza Schuyler Hamilton. In this fictionalized biography we learn about a revolutionary woman who, like her new nation, struggled to define herself in the wake of war, betrayal, and tragedy. It is not just about Eliza being the wronged wife in a steamy political scandal; she is also shown as a founding mother who shapes an American legacy in her own right.
The meeting will be in the Youth Room of the church at 1:00 Coffee and tea will be served. According to current covid guidelines, masks will need to be worn into the church and while moving from one area to another, but once we are settled we may remove our masks.
