The MomCo

WE SAVED YOU A SEAT!

You know that feeling of I don’t belong here? The quiet middle-school cafeteria panic of not knowing where to sit. It’s funny how we grow up on paper — jobs, kids, bills, calendars, but we still walk into a room feeling the same way. We wonder: Is it just me? Am the only one who’s lonely? Somewhere between cafeterias and carpool lines, we acquired 1224 friends on Instagram, but not one person we’d feel comfortable calling in a crisis. We got busy, started using ChatGPT as our therapist, and now we spend more time analyzing our lives than living them. We’re great at managing schedules and terrible at saying, "Want to come over?” Maybe it’s because we’ve spent the last few years optimizing our mornings, workouts and wardrobes into a boring beige minimalism. The result? We’re burnt out, lonely and tired of feeling overwhelmed. It’s time to slow things down. Less maximizing every minute, more backyard hangs. More remembering who we are when we’re not doing it all alone. We’re longing for more life and real community. Into that ache, Jesus speaks with surprising clarity: “I have called you friends.” And then he hands us to each other. This year at MomCo, we’re going back to something wildly simple: We’re bringing back analog friendship. It’s time to be known again. And so, how about we not play it cool? Let’s bring back earnestness.

At MomCo, you’re in GOOD COMPANY!

About Us

The MomCo is short for Mom Community! (Formerly known as MOPS) MomCo encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church. MomCo is a ministry of Christ Lutheran Church, and is a part of MomCo International.
MomCo Membership is a movement of women who are practicing becoming more brave, kind, and honest. MomCo exists to build communities of women who love and support each other through the journey of motherhood. No matter what motherhood looks like for her, every mom has a place in The MomCo.

What happens at a MomCo meeting?

A typical MomCo meeting includes fellowship, a speaker or MomCo-provided video, table discussions, a creative activity, and a great breakfast! Speakers and topics vary, but are relevant to many aspects of a mom's life.

During our MomCo meetings your children may attend KidsCo, with playtime, bible lessons, crafts, and singing and snack time.

Small Group Meeting Schedule

Small group is a thoughtful, faith-based study and discussion on topics such as friendship, hospitality and character.  Motherhood is hard. In a world of five-step lists and silver-bullet solutions to become perfect parents, mothers are burdened with mixed messages about who they are and what choices they should make. If you feel pulled between high-fives and hard words, with culture's solutions only raising more questions, you're not alone. We meet in the evenings on the 1st Tuesday of the Month starting October 5th! Reach out to Cheryl Kussow at for more information!

Moms Night Out!

Throughout the year, we plan several Moms' Night Out activities. These activities provide opportunities to have fun while building relationships with other moms outside of our monthly meetings.
