On Sunday, September 16 we held our first Charity Farmer’s Market in lieu of the Annual Day of Service. We had 17 tables with items ranging from gluten free treats to hand-sewn items, and décor items to lip balm! We also had live music and a car wash. The donation results were as follows, resulting in a total of over $2300!
- Caring Center $1320.69
- Habitat for Humanity of Boone County $320.50
- LCFS (directed to Lutherwood) $331.00
- Lutheran Disaster Relief $186
- High school mission trip $220
Huge thanks to Carol Smith and Danielle Burrus who organized the event, recruited volunteers, and made many items to fill in the volunteers’ sale tables!
